Woman Reporter is Hit by Car on Live TV

A reporter in West Virginia has earned some additional stripes after being struck by a car while filming a live shot and without missing a beat!!!

It all started on Wednesday night, when WSAZ-TV reporter Tori Yorgey was reporting from the field when she was struck by a vehicle from behind. She yells as her body rushes forward out of sight “Oh, my god! I just got hit by a car, but I’m ok.”

Ever the trooper… Tori leaps to her feet, moves her camera, and sluffs it… “That’s live TV for you. It’s all good” Tori said that it wasn’t the first time she’d been hit. It also happened in college.

Tori is unbelievably sweet, and the motorist who struck her apologizes during the live shoot… “Ma’am, you are so sweet, and you are OK.”

This is 2022, social media was seeking someone to drag under the bus, and they went after the anchor for not having a sufficiently terrified reaction, according to them. In a tweet, he justified himself, claiming that he could only hear Tori and couldn’t see the real hit. According to him, she was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

What’s more, this was her last week at the station. She’s on her way to Pittsburgh now.

Stay in your lanes, Pittsburgh drivers!!!
