Amy Robach celebrates giving ‘zero f–ks’ after hitting ‘rock bottom’ amid T.J. Holmes affair fallout

Amy Robach has come to terms with the backlash she received for her affair with T.J. Holmes.

The former “GMA3” host admitted she now gives “zero f–ks” about other people’s opinions during Sunday’s episode of the “Amy & T.J.” podcast.

“We know a little bit about walking through some darkness [and] coming through the other side when the worst has happened,” Robach told guest Rachel Platten.

“And I’ve thought I’ve hit rock bottom before and then I actually hit rock bottom.”

Robach, 51, gushed over the musician, explaining how some of Platten’s tracks have helped her through adversity.

“All of those things resonate with so many people, but I think especially listening to your music now and having just gone through the journey we went through,” she said, referencing the fallout she received after the scandal came to light in November 2022.

The TV personality added that Platten’s 2015 hit, “Fight Song,” used to be her anthem but now it’s shifted to her newly released song, “Mercy.”

She continued, “And I’ve thought I’ve hit rock bottom before and then I actually hit rock bottom.” ajrobach/Instagram

Robach added that she’s embraced Platten’s “zero f–ks” mentality in her life as she’s overcome hardships.

“When you get to a place and it’s hard-earned when you can give zero f–ks, sometimes that’s when you’re at your best,” she said.

Holmes, 46, agreed the journey of moving on from the past has been “weird” and “freeing,” explaining he’s “finally where he is supposed to be.”

When news of the duo’s affair broke, sources told Page Six that they had already been dating for two months.

At the time, Holmes was married to Marilee Fiebig and Robach was finalizing her divorce from Andrew Shue.

The former TV anchors have denied their relationship was an affair, but Holmes didn’t file for divorce from Fiebig until December 2022.

Coincidentally, Holmes and Robach’s exes have moved on with each other, Page Six exclusively reported in December 2023.
