Blake Vigorous and her criminal group want to slim their request for Justin Baldoni‘s communications … so says a federal pass judgement on who dominated at the movement.
In a brandnew series issued Friday, a federal pass judgement on dominated on Vigorous’s request for mobile phone communications of events named in a sexual harassment lawsuit, together with Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and Jennifer Abel, amongst others … in part granting a part of the subpoena, year rejecting a part of it.
Principally, the pass judgement on unearths the subpoena just too vast — calling the subpoenas Vigorous’s aspect needs from Wayfarer Studios “overly intrusive and disproportionate to the needs of the case.”
The pass judgement on issues out that Vigorous and her group are inquiring for greater than two years of communications — starting in December 2022 … despite the fact that Vigorous has argued the alleged smear marketing campaign towards her didn’t start till August 2024 — so, the pass judgement on says it’s crisp to justify the desire for all the ones information.
Alternatively, the pass judgement on is granting a part of the series … permitting subpoenas or requests in quest of the telephone information of non-parties to the lawsuit despite the fact that Wayfarer claimed one of these subpoena infringed on their shoppers’ privateness.
Justin’s lawyer Bryan Freedman tells GWN … “The Court must put a stop to Ms. Lively’s egregious attempt to invade our clients’ privacy. This is a big win. No matter how the Lively Parties may try to spin this decision, the Court saw their efforts for what they really are: a desperate fishing expedition intended to salvage their debunked claims long after they already savaged our clients’ reputations in the New York Times.”

As we informed you … Vigorous made the request for telephone communications previous this past in hopes of discovering a “smear campaign” smoking gun. Freedman referred to as out the subpoenas for being too vast on the month, too. BTW … Vigorous already amended the subpoenas in an try to produce them much less vast — despite the fact that a pass judgement on obviously thinks she didn’t advance some distance plenty.
A rep for Vigorous tells GWN … “What is Bryan Freedman hiding? After promising to release all the ‘receipts,’ Freedman ran into court to keep secret the phone records of who Baldoni, Heath, Sarowitz, Nathan, Wallace and Abel were calling during their retaliatory campaign.”
The rep concludes, “So, instead of getting these records from the phone carriers the way we initially requested, the judge has ruled that if we simply submit more specific requests, we will be able to get the records we are seeking. Today we will do that, we are submitting those requests directly to defendants involved and we look forward to seeing the records.”
