Inside designer Rachel Antonoff’s star-studded 15th anniversary party: Pop stars, pasta towers and more

“There are more celebrities here than at the Met Gala,” we overheard one guest quip at Rachel Antonoff‘s bash marking her fashion brand’s 15th year in business, which was filled to the brim with her famous friends and supporters.

But despite drawing a crowd that included Dylan O’Brien, Busy Philipps, Lauren Graham, B.J. Novak, Ziwe Fumudoh and the designer’s brother, Jack Antonoff, to Brooklyn Heights eatery Noodle Pudding on a Monday night, the atmosphere at this May soirée leaned funky rather than formal.

In keeping with Antonoff’s clothes, which have always been synonymous with color and charm — think pasta-patterned puffer jackets and cupcake-inspired scalloped cardigans — the dress code called for “eccentric elegance.” And Bad Taste’s Jen Monroe brought some of the designer’s signature food prints to life in fantastical fashion, sculpting spaghetti-and-meatball towers, literal “house salads” and cabins made from cheese.

Comedians (Mike Birbiglia, Jerrod Carmichael) mingled with Broadway stars (Beanie Feldstein, Ali Stroker). At one point, we spotted Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan making their way through the crowd, hand in hand. And before guests could grab their souvenir tees and head home, proud dad Rick Antonoff took the stage with singer-songwriter Claud for a performance that included a cover of the Beatles’ “I Want to Hold Your Hand. (What, you thought there was only one musician in the family?)
