Michael Douglas makes rare red carpet appearance with daughter Carys, son Dylan

Michael Douglas had the support of two of his adult children at a screening for a political documentary on Wednesday.

The “Wall Street” star posed for photos at the DGA Theater in New York City with his and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones’ two kids: daughter Carys, 21, and son Dylan, 23, on the red carpet of “America’s Burning.”

Michael, 79, looked dapper in a blue shirt, gray pants and a blue sport jacket while Carys and Dylan twinned in white ensembles.

Carys modeled a white linen jacket and satin skirt, while her older brother wore a white textured suit over a white shirt.

The Oscar-winning actor is also father to son Cameron, 45, whom he shares with his ex-wife Diandra Luker.

Being an elderly father to Carys and Dylan once caused Michael to be mistaken for their grandfather. The “Fatal Attraction” star revealed the awkward encounter occurred when he visited one of his kids at their college for Parents’ Day.

“‘This is not grandfather’s day, this is Parents’ Day,’” he recalled being told during an interview with the Telegraph earlier this year. “I say, ‘I am a parent.’”

Carys is enrolled at Brown University in Rhode Island, while Dylan graduated from the same Ivy League in 2022.

Now that Michael and the “Entrapment” actress, 54, are empty nesters, the longtime couple has listed their Westchester County, NY, estate for $12 million.

“When I purchased our Irvington home I knew our family would share many happy times here, and we have!” Zeta-Jones told the Wall Street Journal of the palatial riverfront home they purchased five years ago.

“Now that both our son and daughter have left the nest it seems like the right time to sell,” the “Mask of Zorro” star shared, adding that she and her husband plan on spending most of their time in Bermuda and Europe.

The dynamic duo, who tied the knot in 2000, purchased the 12-acre estate for $4.5 million in 2019 and renovated the home, dubbed Longmeadow, while preserving its original 1920s features.

The estate offers “a once in a lifetime opportunity to enjoy a life of unparalleled beauty, luxury and privacy,” according to the listing.
