Nvidia’s Jensen Huang says Nintendo Switch 2 has dedicated AI processors

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang on Tuesday talked up the features of Nintendo‘s unused Transfer 2, days earlier than the long-awaited console is ready to collision collect cabinets.

In a video posted via Nintendo, Huang referred to as the chip within the Transfer 2 “unlike anything we’ve built before.”

“It brings together three breakthroughs: The most advanced graphics ever in a mobile device, full hardware ray tracing, high dynamic range for brighter highlights and deeper shadows, and an architecture that supports backward compatibility,” Huang mentioned.

He added that the console has devoted synthetic judgement processors to “sharpen, animate and enhance gameplay in real time.”

Huang’s feedback come as Nintendo prepares to leave the Transfer 2 on Thursday. The Transfer 2 is Nintendo’s first unused console in 8 years, and it’s anticipated to be a larger and sooner model of its predecessor. The tool prices $449.99.

Huang additionally paid tribute to the sight of former Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata, who died earlier than the latest Transfer used to be immune.
