In order to help you cut through the noise, we’ve curated the perfect October watchlist — all of which can be streamed with just one Hulu subscription.

Catch up on September releases

September was a big month on Hulu as “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” dropped its fifth season and “Dancing With the Stars” began airing weekly with Wednesday drops. Of course, there’s so many new things to be watched, but don’t sleep on these September drops, either!


‘American Horror Story’ Season 13

Just in time for spooky season, “American Horror Story: 13” began airing last week. The season, which consists of 13 episodes, has a motif with the unlucky number running through it. While the plot still isn’t super clear, the new season is bringing together a number of fan-favorites from the past 12 seasons of “AHS” including five played by Sarah Paulson and four by Jessica Lange and Evan Peters.


‘The Lowdown’ Season 2

“The Lowdown” will be back on FX and Hulu soon! The Ethan Hawke-led crime comedy about citizen journalist and self-proclaimed “truthstorian” Lee Raybon returns for its second season, which follows Lee as he teams up with a brash public defender to investigate a client’s mysterious disappearance from a state penitentiary. “The Lowdown” Season 2 premieres with two episodes on Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. ET.


‘Phony’

Disney

Hulu has a mysterious new series that’s just waiting to be your next obsession. “Phony” premieres on Oct. 14; the mystery comedy stars Connie Britton and Sam Nivola (“The White Lotus”). Hailing from Nick Paley (writer of “Marcel the Shell with Shoes On”), “Phony” follows a teenage boy who wakes up after a car accident and becomes convinced his mother has been replaced with an imposter.

The fall TV season is in full swing and ABC’s scripted shows are making their comebacks! Here’s a look at their fall schedule, including what day you’ll be able to catch new episodes on Hulu.

‘Coven Academy’

Get into the Halloween spirit with this witchy new release, dropping in full on Oct. 2. Malina Weissman, Ora Duplass and Jordan Leftwitch star as a trio of teenage witches destined to protect New Orleans against dangerous and ancient forces. “Coven Academy” also stars “Saved By the Bell”s Tiffani Thiessen and Devon Sawa appears in a guest role.

You don’t need an ESPN subscription to watch some of the NHL’s October slate. The season is just getting started, and Hulu subscribers can watch these eight games at no additional cost throughout the month.
